Why Support St. Tikhon's Seminary?
The Orthodox faithful are called to "make disciples of all nations" (Matt. 28:19). Every disciple will first seek out a parish to be with the people of God. Every parish will need a priest and pastor to shepherd the flock. Every priest and pastor must first be prepared for their vocation. We form priests who excel at their vocation.
Forming the Holy Priesthood is our work, by grace through faith. Our priests go on to preach the Gospel and labor in the harvest (Matt. 9:38). St. Tikhon's Seminary Legacy Society
The St. Tikhon’s Seminary Legacy Society honors faithful supporters who have chosen to remember the Seminary through planned giving. By including St. Tikhon’s Seminary as a primary beneficiary in thier will or trust, Legacy Society members help ensure the continued formation of clergy and lay leaders and strengthen the future of Orthodox theological education for generations to come.
St. Gregorios Society
The St. Gregorios Society honors and supports the longstanding partnership between St. Tikhon’s Seminary and the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church through the Baselios Marthoma Mathews III Scholarship Fund. This fund provides support for the tuition and educational costs of Malankara seminarians, contributing to the common good of both communities by enabling us to share educational resources.
Century Association
Since 1971, the St. Tikhon's Seminary Century Association has privately operated to fundraise on behalf of our seminary. Their years of faithful generosity, garnered through annual membership fees and programs, have provided a helpful supplement to our success.
